Educational qualification:

Candidates who are willing to apply they must have done class 10th / 12th / graduation / post graduation/ ITI in relevant trade as per the post applied form a recognized university / institute.

Age Limitations:

For the post of SSC Junior Engineer:

  • 18-27 years for Junior Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in CPWD and Department of Posts
  • Not exceeding 30 years for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in MES
  • Upto 32 years for Junior Engineers (Civil & Mechanical) in CWC and Farakka Barrage
  • 18-27 Years for Junior Engineers (Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES.
  • Not exceeding 30 years for Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical &Mechanical) in Border Roads Organisation (BRO) of Ministry of Defence.

For SSC CHSL Exam:

Candidate must have attained the age of 18 years and must not have attained the age of 27 years as on 01-08-2013, for Data Entry Operator and Lower Division Clerk.

For SSC Junior Hindi Translator:

Candidate’s age limit should not exceed 30 years.

For SSC Stenographer:

Candidate’s age limit should be between 18-27 years.

For SSC MTS: Candidates age limit should be between 18-25 years.

For SSC Assistant Grade III 

Candidates’ age should not be more than 27 years

Accountant & Accountant /Sub-Inspector (CBN).
18-27 years
Statistical Investigator Gr.II Not exceeding 32 years
Assistant/ Sub Inspector in CBI 20-27 years
Sub Inspector in CBI  20-30 years
Assistant Enforcement Officer  30 years

For SSC Junior Translator:

Candidate’s age limit should not exceed 30 year.

Selection procedure:

Selection of the applicants will be done on the basis of the written test / skill test / interview as per the requirement.

Number of Attempts SSC exam:

Aspirants can take unlimited times.
